[Last Week] [Saturday] [Sunday] [Monday] [Tuesday] [Wednesday] [Thursday] [Friday] [Next Week]

The bus is to leave at 6:30 am. We will be up and out of Winston-Salem by 5:00 for the short drive to Level Cross. Holiday Tours is located just 45 minutes or so from Winston-Salem. By leaving from there, I can park the car in a protected parking area.

Today is ride day. We will be traveling to Wheeling, WV for our first night's stop. I will read and watch for pretty scenery along the way. A big advantage to a bus tour is not having to watch and drive at the same time.

Tonight we will be going to Capital Music Hall, home to Jamboree, USA for a dinner and show. Then back to the hotel.

[Last Week] [Saturday] [Sunday] [Monday] [Tuesday] [Wednesday] [Thursday] [Friday] [Next Week]

First of all I want to wish a Happy Anniversary to Bob. We have been married seventeen years today. Again, like the past two years, I have given Bob a very unique anniversary gift. I go away on a bus tour for a week to ten days. He gave me the color printer I have been wanting so that I can print digital pictures to give to my family or the ones that my relatives send to me to share with the family.

Today we are going from Wheeling, WV to Niagara Falls, Ontario, CA. The only event for the evening is to view the falls at night with colored lights. I have never traveled this area of the United States, so I am looking forward to our drive.

[Last Week] [Saturday] [Sunday] [Monday] [Tuesday] [Wednesday] [Thursday] [Friday] [Next Week]

Today we are to have a guided tour of the Niagara Falls area. We will see the falls from the Canadian and American sides as well as the Floral Clock, Horticultural Gardens, and the Welland Shipping Canal among other sights.

We then continue on to Toronto to see the famous CN Tower at night. Depending on the schedule, I hope to at least have time to call on of my AIIP colleagues who lives very near the CN Tower. I cannot tell from the tour book if we tour the CN tower or will just get to view it on the way to the hotel.

[Last Week] [Saturday] [Sunday] [Monday] [Tuesday] [Wednesday] [Thursday] [Friday] [Next Week]

We head back to the United States today from Quebec. I am very excited because will be traveling straight through New Hampshire. The tour is stopping in Franconia, NH to view the Flume, a spectacular gorge formed by a glacier that measures 800 feet long and 70 feet high. After lunch we will be able to walk the covered bridges and to see the waterfalls.

This is quite near the area Bob and I will be visiting in a couple of weeks to look for a place to live. I am hoping my family will see how beautiful this state is and the reason why we wish to move there.

From Franconia we will continue on through New Hampshire to Chelmsford, MA for our night's lodging.
