[Last Week] [Monday] [Tuesday] [Wednesday] [Thursday] [Friday] [Saturday] [Sunday] [Next Week]

Happy Monday. I hope your week gets off to a good start. Yesterday I did get the house cleaned and the lawn edged/ mowed and everything swept up by noon. After eating a bite a lunch I took my shower and hit the sofa. The race from Dover did run in its entirety. I fell asleep about an hour into it for a nice refreshing 1.5 hour nap. When I took the dogs out around 3:30 Steve was just coming home from the hospital Mimi and baby were doing well and resting.

We had leftovers for dinner then I visited Lenore. We spent the remainder of the evening doing our usual, reading and playing with the dogs.

[Last Week] [Monday] [Tuesday] [Wednesday] [Thursday] [Friday] [Saturday] [Sunday] [Next Week]

Nothing really new to talk about. I am back on my regular four hours a day schedule unless I miss some time otherwise, 7:30/7:45 to 11:30/11:45. My other contract work is getting ready to gear up so the earlier I go in and get off the more afternoon time I have for that job. I am also doing a some of the PR stuff. Now that I know what I am doing and have my stuff organized I can send out a lot of stuff in about an hour.

We had another day of sunshine, wow! Three in row. The rain and thunderstorms will be moving back in the middle part of this week. Dad and I were supposed to play golf Tuesday but now it looks like it will be more like Thursday. Bob is meeting his mom at the doctors office Tuesday afternoon and I have a couple of errands to run on the way home from work

Thanks for stopping by. Time to go play some ball with the dogs.

[Last Week] [Monday] [Tuesday] [Wednesday] [Thursday] [Friday] [Saturday] [Sunday] [Next Week]

Row, row, row your boat, gently down the street.....Yes, we had another two to three inches of rain this afternoon. It was raining pretty steady when I got off work at 11:45. It never let up during the entire afternoon, only varied in intensity from a steady downpour to a gully washer, until about 5:00.

I finally walked the dogs around 2 pm since it looked like it was not going to let up anytime soon. While met Lenore at the doctors followed by visiting her back at the nursing home, I spent the afternoon in front of the computer working. We ate a light dinner of grilled ham and cheese sandwiches then I left to visit Lenore before the 6:30 spinning class at the gym.

After checking my mail one last time and finishing up this post it will time to spend the evening playing ball with the guys and reading.

I finished up A Little Class of Murder by Carolyn Hart and plan to start another Lee Harris. The next one in the series is The Thanksgiving Day Murder.

[Last Week] [Monday] [Tuesday] [Wednesday] [Thursday] [Friday] [Saturday] [Sunday] [Next Week]

Another wet day in the Triad. This afternoon we had several thunderstorms roll through but nothing severe. I made a pet store and grocery store run on the way home then spent the remainder of the day working at my desk.

We ate an early dinner so I could go over to visit Lenore. After I left her I drove across town to visit a woman who wants to be a foster mom for CBCR. Like most rescue groups, we never have enough foster homes for the number of dogs out there that need taken in. She will be a welcome addition to our group.

I guess I got back home around 8 pm. Time to go play with the dogs.

Golf Thursday morning. We finally get another nice day. I will work from 7:30 to 10:30 and make up my hour on Friday.

[Last Week] [Monday] [Tuesday] [Wednesday] [Thursday] [Friday] [Saturday] [Sunday] [Next Week]

Happy 50th Birthday to Bob today. We are going out for dinner tonight with my parents. After we eat we will go over to my parents house for a visit. Bob will then come back home and I will stay at mom and dads until my sister gets off from work at 8 pm. I will spending the night with her because mom, dad, and I leave Saturday morning for a two day bus trip to Cumberland Falls State Park. We are not leaving all that early but it is easier just to stay with her since she is taking us to meet the bus at the Winston-Salem pickup spot. That way I can leave the car with Bob and not have to worry about it being parked in someone else's driveway.

I will post a trip report when I get back. We are only going to be gone Saturday and Sunday.

Dad and I ended up only playing nine holes of golf Thursday afternoon instead of 18. For one, the course was half under water from all the rain, so the back nine was all that was open. Two, dad has not been feeling well this week and seemed to have run out of gas after just nine holes. Once we got back to the house I could tell he did not feel well enough to mow his lawn so I did it for him.

By the time I got home and checked my e-mail and wrote this post up it was time to leave for the library. After we pick up take out for Lenore and visit with her awhile we then we are heading over to meet Paul and Mary for dinner. They are hosting the WSAL meeting tonight, which we will hold outside under the stars. The skies are supposed to be most clear for us to at least get in some urban observing of the moon and maybe some faint objects.

I hope everyone has a good weekend. See you Monday.
