We
finally got some much needed rain starting late this afternoon. When I
left work at 5 to run some errands a steady rain has been falling the
entire time I have been driving around town getting in and out of the
car half a dozen times. Sure am glad I wore my rain slicker this
morning.
With the temperatures hovering at around 38 degrees we are lucky it is
just rain although a very cold one.
I sat up reading last night until I finished the Hamish Macbeth. Guess
I will grab another Anne Perry next.
Otherwise, not much in the way of news.

I had a very long and tiring day at work today. Since I was gone last
night running errands I decided to forgo the gym tonight. I walked at
lunch in the rain, cold, and drizzle. More of the same type of weather
for tonight with a slight chance of snow showers. Tomorrow morning's
commute may be a bit dicey with temperatures tonight dipping down into
the high 20's. We really needed the rain especially in the mountain
communities with the high fire danger.
Also, I was so busy this past weekend I was behind in reading some of
my on line newsletters and list serve mail. I took time tonight to get
that caught up along with reserving a few books on the library catalog.

I am very busy at work right now working on
various projects plus handling the day to day stuff by myself until we
get another person.
Today was the usual library and grocery store run on the way home. It
was very cold and windy today but is supposed to warm back up again by
tomorrow.
Poor Malcolm has had an upset tummy since yesterday afternoon. He is
playing ball and acting his usual energetic self but has had diarrhea.
I have been giving him Imodium which will hopefully help to clear it
up. He has a very bad habit of eating stuff he finds on the street.
Actually he does the same thing in the house. He just eats whatever he
sees lying on the floor. Worse than having a two year old around.
