[Last Week] [Monday] [Tuesday] [Wednesday] [Thursday] [Friday] [Saturday] [Sunday] [Next Week]

Today I feel like I just about back to 100%. The cough is mostly gone but I will continue to use the inhaler until it's finished to make sure the asthma completely clears up.

I started reading the fourth book in the J.A. Jance, Ali Reynolds series Trial By Fire. I enjoyed the first two but didn't think much of the third one. I'll see how this one goes. Of her three series I like the Beaumont and then the Brady series in that order.

It was the usual hectic Monday. I left at 4:30 for my haircut appointment. Leftovers for dinner. We are watching more Sopranos and Cold Feet.

[Last Week] [Monday] [Tuesday] [Wednesday] [Thursday] [Friday] [Saturday] [Sunday] [Next Week]

Is it only Wednesday. Rough week at work so far. I've been swamped with more to do that I can get done in an 8 hour day. Last night instead of leaving at my usual time for the gym I worked on a project until 7pm.

Yesterday morning Bob called to tell me while he was backing up my system it crashed or lost data or something. He restored my data and updated Ubuntu. So of course when I got home my mail looked different as did everything else. After a very long day with some computer issues at work while working on my project I could not deal with my home computer issues. I sat down at my system, took a quick look at my mail, quickly closed it, and ran screaming from my office.

Bob is still working out problems with publishing my page. When I have more time, I need to reformate my mail the way I like it to look. I also lost my desktop picture. The one Bob put up is okay but I hopefully I can find something I like better once he gets all the glitches worked out on my system.

I manged to finish up the one project before starting on another one. In between working on it I got a few other things done. I left work on time tonight and headed for the Y where I did about an hour workout to get rid of some tension.

We had a cold front come through last night bringing winds and cooler temperatures. I don't think it made it out of the 50's today especially with it being cloudy all day.

[Last Week] [Monday] [Tuesday] [Wednesday] [Thursday] [Friday] [Saturday] [Sunday] [Next Week]

I stayed late again last night to try and wrap up a project I was working on. I asked for today off on Monday before all the projects hit. I thought I could finish last night but at 7pm I still had four or more hours left. I called the secretary I work with to see how we should handle that fact I could not finish. Lisa said they would work something out when she got in this morning.

This morning I had lots of errands to run. I told Bob I would have me cell phone on just in case. I went out to the RV place to get the propane tank for the grill filled and had stopped at Lowe's on the way back toward the house. Lisa called while I was at Lowe's with a plan. I talked them through getting to the point I left off last night. I am not sure they will get it finished by quitting time tonight.

From Lowe's I stopped by the library and grocery store. After lunch Malcolm helped me plant a new bush in the front and some ground cover I am trying where I have the wash/no grass problem. I mowed and edged before finally calling it quits. It is really a nice, warm day with a pretty good breeze.

In the morning Marcy is picking me up at 9. We are heading to the Blue Ridge Parkway for a nice meandering drive north toward Virgina. We have 6pm reservations at Chatau Morrisette Winery. But before we go there we will check in at the Ambrosia Farm B & B, in Floyd, VA which is about 5 miles from the winery in Floyd, VA. I am looking forward to getting away, especially after the last few hectic weeks at work and getting over the brochitis.
