I worked through lunch and left at 3 to go get dad from the hospital. They had delivered his walker and showed him how to use it that morning.
On the way home I stopped to pick them up something for dinner so they could stay in the apartment for the evening. When we got to the apartment mom met us down at the front door of the building. Dad walked up using his walker. He did really well. After I got them settled I came on home to fix dinner for us.
