It was a nasty, cold, rainy day though had it been a few degrees colder it would have been a nasty snowy/icy day.
I left work at 10 to pick up dad for his followup appointment with his family practice doctor. Those are pretty much mandatory after a hospital stay. We reviewed his medicines, they checked his heart and lungs, and sent him on his way.
By the time we finished up, stopped at Chick-fil-A to grab some takeout, and get him up the apartment it was 1:30. I took my food and ate quickly in the car so I could get back to work. We are very busy right now with first of the year stuff. I worked until 5 then went to the Y.
