Yesterday afternoon I finished up my errands then picked up mom at Creekside to meet Frances and Marcy for dinner at Zoe’s. Mom is doing really well. More rain last night. We continue to have a wet, warm summer.
This morning while waiting on the grass to dry, so I could mow, I trimmed the low branches from the front maple tree by the house and the dogwood in back. And, I had to dig up the butterfly bush by the driveway after it died. Not sure what happened with that. Again, the temperatures are not bad for this time of year, low to mid 80’s but it so humid. Early this morning there wasn’t even a breath of air blowing. I mixed up a sprayer of weed killer and did a few other little chores before it was finally dry enough to mow.
I am getting ready to go over to mom’s to help pack up dad’s clothing and personal items. Mom has pulled everything from the closets and dressers for us to box up.
