House cleaning chores this morning before Bob and I took off for Costco. We only needed a few things but I wanted to get a new TV for mom. They had our our old one we gave them when we bought our new flat screen. Several of the local stations are going HD only by the end of the year. We picked up a nice 36″ JVC that is just a TV; no WIFI, NexFlix, etc.
I called to let her know we were on the way over as we were loading the car. We had it set up by the time she needed to go down for her lunch at 12:15.
Bob has discovered The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show aka Rocky and Friends on Amazon Prime streaming. The show ran from 1959 to 1964. This was a Saturday morning cartoon staple in our house growing up. I like Mr. Peabody the dog and his boy Sherman. Bob was watching episodes the other night when I arrived home after having dinner with mom. We are also watching London Hospital and The Murdoch Mysteries.
