While the weather has turned back to being warm and muggy we are still having a relatively cool summer. I am pretty sure this is the first time in years that we have reached the mid-point of August and I have grass, lots of green grass, instead of a dormant yard. This of course due to the deluge we had a couple of weeks ago. And, I saw a graphic on TV while at the Y last night that we have only had 23 days of 90 plus degrees this year as opposed to the usual 60 some. The leaves are starting to fall from the maple outside our bedroom window.

Bob found the rest of season 14 of Midsomer Murders. We had watched the first four when we tried out Acorn TV last year. I liked the old Barnaby (John Nettles) better than the new one (Neil Dudgeon) but he’s growing on me as we watch more of these new ones after Nettles retired.
