This morning I changed the linens, shredded paper for Bob’s kits, and filled and capped 60 bottles then took off for the library and grocery store.
Before taking a lunch break I tried to use the blower to move the very large pile of leaves I had parked under the back red maple tree. They were too wet underneath from sitting there for several weeks so I had to use the rake to get the worst of them down the hill to the back corner then used the blower to do a clean up. Then after lunch I mowed.
It’s a beautiful fall day with clear blue skies, very little wind, and temperatures in the low 70’s. We are a bit of a lull in the leaf falling season with the early silver maples mostly down and the red maples not finished turning yet.
