House cleaning chores this morning. For many years I decorated my dinning room table for Thanksgiving. I have several very cute scarecrows with hay bales and a couple of ceramic pieces that are very nice; all things mom and dad bought for me over the years.Not sure why, other than just being too busy, I stopped doing the Thanksgiving decorations.
This year, in honor of mom, I took the border collies and cottages down from the mantle and replaced them with my Thanksgiving decorations. I also put a couple of items on the side table by the door including a really cute dish I bought on our Gatlinburg trip. It can stay out year round.
After lunch I vacuumed the leaves then mowed. After all the rain and wind the leaves were too thick to mow up. Lots of limbs and sticks down as well. Today is chilly and still windy with 26 mph gusts. Freeze warning for tonight. I have annuals in two pots in the front that are still blooming. After tonight it is to warm back up again so I’ll put them on the front porch and cover them with a sheet.
