The firm lost one of its most talented and hard-working attorneys at the age of 84 on Sunday. Roughly three weeks ago he was still coming in to work every day dressed in suit and tie. He always had a kind word or pithy comment to say to anyone from attorney down to staff support persons such as myself. I first encountered Grady about ten years ago when I was working in the record center. His gruff exterior was merely a front for a very funny man who was the epitome of the old fashion attorney. Not only did he win crack cases for the Firm he became a teacher to many, many young attorneys up until his very last days with the Firm. He will be missed by one and all from those with the firm to those who have moved on to other organizations. We will miss him greatly.
