We’ve been watching the previous season of Army Wives. I love the show but some episodes are little rough to watch. In one we watched Sunday night a minor character was killed while serving in Afghanistan. The entire episode went back and forth between the young soldier getting killed and what was happening at the same time back on the base in the US. Sunday night’s episode was one of the most emotional ones we have seen so far.
I picked mom and dad up at 3:15 to take them over to the hearing place in High Point for mom to pick up her hearing aids. No more shouting in the car to be heard. I don’t think mom realized how bad she could not hear until the Dr. put her new “ears” in. We had dinner on the way home then I dropped them off.
Last night Frances called me around 8pm. They were back at Forsyth hospital again. This time mom twisted her knee when they were getting ready to leave the hospital where they volunteer. By the time they got home she could not put any weight on her foot. She is fine. They put her in one of those immobilizing braces that go from the ankle to the thigh. She was walking okay today
