Day three. This morning I tried out Bob’s four footed cane he uses for balance to see how I did walking with it. It was wonderful. Bob had ordered me an adjustable single leg, curved handle cane from Costco Tuesday. We thought it would be at least until Friday before I progressed to a cane but Bob and I can share his for now. He mainly needs it while outside walking Colin. The physical therapist just left leaving me with new exercises to work on.
I am reading Love Letters from Ladybug Farm by Donna Ball, the most recent novel in this series. It is not just a book of love letters in case you were wondering. The three owners of Ladybug Farm have branched out into providing their place for a wedding with them doing the flowers, catering, etc. Between getting things ready for the wedding and handling the day to day chores of a working farm things are pretty hectic and as usual…comical.
Bob renamed his original Kindle today to me and got it set up with my games and books. I will alternate between reading print and electronic now.
We had roughly an inch of rain through this morning. At times last night and this morning it just poured rain. Colin had a pretty miserable day since he does not like to go outside when it’s raining. He is also having a hard time with not getting to play outside since I am laid up in here.
