I am reading on my Kindle book 4, The Skeleton’s Knee, in Archer Mayor’s police procedural series featuring police detective Joe Gunter set in Brattleboro, VT. I picked up the first book in this series many years ago on one of my bus trips to New England. I read it and the next three in the series and then for some reason did not continue. Since he started the series in 1988 it may have been because I could not find the older ones in our library system and it was before we had access to the other libraries in the state. When Bob joined the free book deal with Amazon I found the series and had him download the rest of them on my Kindle.
In addition to sharing with you what I am reading my blog also serves as a “vault” for what I have read. Today I was trying to remember the author of a series I had read. I could not remember the character name or the location so I filtered this site for my books category and found it.
It has been a less than hectic time at work for a change this week, so far. I may jinx myself by tomorrow. I went to the Y last night. Other than a quick rain shower the other night it has been dry and warm. I watered the flowered tonight with cooler weather coming but no rain in sight.
