I am reading another book in Connie Shelton’s Charlie Parker mystery series, Competition Can Be Murder. While the usual plot location is New Mexico, Shelton moved this novel to Scotland where Charlie and Drake are flying oil rig workers back and forth to the platforms. In helping out one of Drake’s old copter flying buddies while he is away taking care of his sick mom, Charlie and Drake get involved in a union dispute between the pilots and the ship owners for ferrying rights.
Warm and humid again today. I had a hair cut appointment after work.
