I am reading Dead Rapunzel, the most recent book in Victoria Houston’s Loon Lake mystery series.
Another trip down to W-S today. We arrived around 9:15 and started to work, Bob taking down shelving and brackets and me packing up more stuff from my office floor and closet. By the time Frances and Al arrived around 10:30 we had the living room full of more boxes and the den with boards. Al helped Bob take down bracket holders from the wall and the support boards holding my door/desk. We loaded up the Trooper and Al’s truck and headed back up the mountain. Now I have another pile of boxes of stuff in the garage to be unpacked, organized, and put away.
We had great weather though we hit some pea soup fog just outside W-S. The sun came out and it turned fairly warm down there. They had a lot of wind and rain yesterday bringing down more sticks and limbs in the yard. I picked up the biggest ones in the front but have a lot of clean up to do in the back.
Normally the temperatures between W-S and Sparta range in difference of perhaps ten degrees and even closer. Today it is twenty degrees warmer in Winston than here with our high at 34 and theirs at 54.
