I went to the gym this morning before running and completing a long list of errands. Along with the bank and library I dropped off several boxes of household goods and clothing to Alleghany Cares, our version of Goodwill, and several boxes of books at the Friends store downtown. Bob and I had stopped in there last year when we drove up to have a look around. The Friends of the Library bookstore is, I think, the first bookstore I have seen run by a Friends group offsite from a library building.
Today we are back to the 25 to 30mph wind gusts and temperatures just above freezing.
I hauled in all the boxes from the garage I brought up yesterday. All the books from the Winston house are now up here. Some of the boxes I brought up yesterday cannot be unpacked until we get the shelving up in Bob’s office. But, now that I have all the books up here I can start shelving the ones that go on the bookshelves in the finished area. I will most likely work on that this weekend.
