I am reading a new author. Bob downloaded the second book in a series by Annelise Ryan. The library, surprisingly, had the first one Working Stiff. I say surprisingly because our library carries very little in the way of mid-list authors and concentrate more the best seller crap, etc. For several years now I have been having to buy some of my favorite authors newer titles because the library stopped carrying them. Now with self publication and Kindle I will hopefully be able to get them in that format as they become available.
In the case of the Cynthia Harrod-Eagles Bill Slider series I can’t get the older ones at the library. Fortunately she has done omnibus’ of 4-6 and 7-8 that I am hoping Bob will get me for my birthday.
Y tonight. The knee continues to get better. A lot of the swelling has gone down which has increased my ability to bend and straighten. It is not 100% yet but I am working on it.
