We went under tornado watch late yesterday afternoon. We kept the local TV station on the early part of the evening. Fortunately for us we were spared but just south of us had some major damage plus a couple of fatalities and some injuries. Most of the threat of bad weather had moved on by 8pm so we watched some Desperate Housewives until time for bed.
It was still raining this morning. We ended up with a little over 2 1/2 inches of rain. This morning the front yard looked, and I quote Bob “like a rice paddy”. We also had our high for the day this morning as I headed to work at 50 degrees. The temperature continued to go down the rest of the day making my evening walk to the car a blissful 44 degrees with wind. Tonight we are going down into the high 20’s. 70’s to 20’s in 24 hours.
Today is the sixth week since my knee surgery. Unless I really bend it back or bump the scar, which is still sore, I forget I have a new knee. It still feels funny when I walk particularly at the top of the knee where it is attached to the quad muscle but no pain.
