I spent this morning doing stuff around the house; changed the linens, gave Bob a haircut, and cleaned off the kitchen counters and island.
Then I was off to the bank, the drugstore, and the other garden store in Sparta. I picked up another big bag of potting soil, a four pack of begonias, and a deep purple butterfly bush.
After lunch I planted the begonias along the long part of the porch and finished another planter with the two cosmos and a portulata from yesterday with the new potting soil. I planted the butterfly bush out along the road where we have a rhododendron and a couple of other big bushes I have no idea what they are.
We just had a five minute gully washer, now the sun is back out. The checkbook is balanced and the first of the month checks written to finish out the afternoon.
