My fruit picker came today. It worked great once I got the hang of knocking the apples off with the without getting hung up in the leaves and branches. It has a telescoping handle to allow me to get to some of the higher apples but so long I cannot control the picker. It will really come in handy next year after I trim off the low hanging branches that I can now reach from the ground but are in James’ way when he mows.
We are working on kit stuff today. Colin has been out several times to play Frisbee. It’s was very warm and sunny this morning but it looks like it’s going to pour any minute. While we were downstairs putting together chemical bags Colin was stretched out full length on the cool cement floor taking a nap and being off duty; a very rare occurrence even at night when he is sleeping.
