I picked neighbor Bonnie up at 8:15 to take her in to town to the doctor for routine blood work. From there she needed to stop at the bank than we went through Hardee’s drive-thru to pick up breakfast. I knew this would be part of the morning trip so I skipped my usual bowl of cereal. She likes their biscuits and it’s a treat for her to get one. Plus, whenever anyone takes her to town or over to Galax, VA she likes to buy them lunch or, in this case, breakfast. We took our food back to her house where I joined her for our late breakfast then came on home.
This afternoon I volunteer at the Friends bookstore from 1:30 to 5.
