I am reading Overture to Death by Ngaio Marsh.

Rain and thunderstorms last night. Colin was not a happy camper. The storms ushered in the predicted cold front. We did not get snow or even snow flurries but the winds are howling, 25 to 35 sustained with gusts at 50 mph and higher. The rolling trash bin store by the porch blew over at some point. When Bob took Colin out first time he laid it down on its side. Just before I got up I heard a loud noise. Bob had gone out to retrieve the trash can from the middle of the front lawn. At that point we put it in the garage. The high wind warning runs until noon Friday.

A good day to stay indoors to say the least. We have kit projects and other things to work on. I am making sloppy joe sauce in the slow cooker for dinner tonight.
