My procedure went well yesterday. I was not sedated therefore when I finished up I drove on over to Frances and Al’s. Al and I went to dinner, Frances had to work until 8. This morning I followed Frances and Al up 421 to Hamptonville. We visited a really nice Amish general store. From there we drove into Elkin to eat at a cute little cafe then visited the general store in Elkin. From there I came home and Frances and Al went back to Winston.
Sad follow up to my news yesterday about my neighbor Bonnie. She passed away this morning at 4am. All the doctor’s found yesterday was low potassium levels and dehydration. They admitted her to get her fluid levels and her strength back up. Although she was 89 it was still a shock as we did not think she was critically ill when she left her house yesterday. I will miss going up to visit her several times a week and our road trips to Wal-Mart in Galax, VA.
