Mission accomplished. I finished up in the dinning room this morning and the hall bath and kitchen this afternoon. Bob’s office will have to wait until he finishes the book. The only other room is the work room which I can tackle on a weekend.
I am reading a latest mystery, Three Day Town, by Margaret Maron. A lady at work gave us the entire set of this series which Bob and I read through last year. I her new book Maron has sent Judge Deborah Knott, her main character, and newly wed husband Dwight Bryant off on a honeymoon trip in New York. Deborah and Dwight have been entrusted to deliver a valuable gift for an elderly friend from their hometown to her granddaughter since they are going to NY. What is interesting is the granddaughter is Sigrid Harold, a NYPD lieutenant, who is the main character for a series she wrote from 1981 to 1995. She started her Knott series in 1992. I have not read her other series but I a wondering with so many books coming back in e-format if she is trying to get new readers interested enough to go back and read the series. Her Knott series is set in a small county near Raleigh, NC. Not only do I love her writing but I also like her Deborah Knott character. I may, at some point, go back and read the Harold series.
