I am reading Murder on the Serpentine by Anne Perry.
Back at the beginning of the year I asked neighbor Bonnie’s nephew Gene if he would make us a handrail for the front steps when he had time. There are only two steps but they are tall and deep. With Bob’s vertigo and my knees we needed one on the right hand side for safety. I did not want two rails in the event we had to haul something big and bulky in the front door.
With Bonnie’s death in early April and him having to handle the estate he was busy earlier in the year. He showed up today and installed the new rail. It’s looks very nice and will make it easier to traverse the stairs especially in the winter if we get ice and snow.
Gym this morning. Working on kit stuff this afternoon.
