Dr. Lee just called. Bob is responding to verbal commands but is just very weak. The doctor will move the breathing tube from his mouth to his neck tomorrow so we can hopefully move on to the next step of getting him into rehab and stronger.

I stayed in Sparta today. I am trying to issues with getting the business on a more or lessĀ  on a hold situation. I spent a couple of frustrating hours working on that this morning while waiting on the mail to get picked up so I could ship a kit.

Lori was off today. Once the mail lady left I went to the gym and grocery store. This afternoon I am putting out “fires” as best I can with Bob’s e-mails, doing laundry, and other chores.

Hang in there Barbara, as frustrating and tiring as things are you are doing great and will persevere.

If you have any computer issues, and don’t already have someone helping you, I volunteer to help. My contact information is on the web page I just linked to.

If one of Bob’s readers is already helping, that’s fine. Just wanted to let you know I am praying for both you and Bob, and wish there were something more I could do to help.

I have prayed for Bob each day since this began and will continue to do so. Sounds like you need prayers also.

We are all behind you and Bob, Barbara. You have my best wishes for a speedy recovery for Bob.

Thank you so much Lynn. Hanging in there.

  6. Barbara Fritchman Thompson says:

Thank you for the support. Bob has a great network of friends out there.

Barbara you must be racking up close to 150 round trip miles with every trip.
I’d be honored to send down a gas card to help with fuel. I’m sure you don’t ‘need’ it but it would be a more tangible way of helping than ‘prayers and wishes’.

I’m also part of a very active nation wide dog community that understands herding breeds well. I would be happy to help find some additional resources to lend exercise / mental stimulation help for Colin. It feels risky to trust others with our dogs but maybe having more hands with Colin would help. I’ve got working line border collie friends and could likely find someone close to Sparta via the nationwide dog community.

Hang in there Barbara. Site issues are in progress as we ‘speak’….I have access and will make the changes as directed.
