Things calmed down a little today at work. Since I left at 1:15 for a doctor appointment I have no idea if things were hectic this afternoon or not. Guess I will find out in the morning.
I saw the hand orthopedic doctor today in the same practice where I go for me knees. I had an injection in my right thumb back in 2008 and again last year in March. My knee doctor did the thumb injection when I saw him for an injection in my right knee. He said if it flared up again to see Dr. Creegan. The flareup started again back in the fall but I put off doing anything about it since I was doing the knee replacement. It has gradually gotten worse to the point where the thumb has become almost useless. This time the pain was back further in the joint close to wrist instead up at the base as before. They did x-rays, which I had not had done before, and gave me an injection. Hopefully this will take care of the problem for awhile.
We had roughly a half inch of rain before that system moved out of here. Behind it is spring like weather with temperatures in the mid to upper 60’s this afternoon. We have yet to have any winter weather to speak of.
