74 degrees, sunny, and breezy when I left for the gym.

From the gym I drove over to Independence, VA which is about ten miles from Sparta just over the VA line. They have their farmers market on Friday morning instead of Saturday. Since I did not have to work today I thought I would go over and check it out. They have roughly 35 vendor tents with flowers, produce, and a few crafts, food, etc. It’s a little early in the season for a lot of produce so they mostly had plants. Since my zucchini seeds did not come up this year I bought three nice plants from the guy who cut down my walnut tree last fall.

I planted those and did a few other garden related things before coming in to shower and eat lunch. It’s a nice day outside with temperatures in the low 80’s but winds are gusting in their usual 10 to 20 mph range.
