76 degrees, sunny, and breezy when I left for the gym. Mostly sunny and breezy again today with temperatures in the upper 70’s and a better chance of storms this afternoon.
The garden is looking good. Potato beetles chomped a lot of the foliage but hopefully will not effect the crop yield too much. I smacked them off with the broom last week and again yesterday. Only had a few this morning. I have Seven dust but I hate to use it unless I have too.
The beans are coming up and the squash has flowers. I hoed what little grass and weeds have come up in last week or so. If I do it regularly I can keep it looking pretty good.
The deck pots are looking good. Peas are coming up and the one squash plant looks healthy. I also hoed the grass and weeds in the beds along the driveway and porch.
