Last evening I left here around 6 to drive over to Mt. Airy to meet Bonnie at the Andy Griffith Playhouse to see the Bellamy Brothers. This was the first time for both us attending an event in this theater. It’s a nice, small theater with good acoustics. It looked to be a sell out crowd of all 359 seats.
They came on stage at 7:30 and played a solid hour and half of everything from their old songs 40 years ago to some of their newer stuff. They had a great backup band and put on a very enjoyable show. I made it back home around 10:15.
It poured rain all the way home until I turned off on the road that crosses over from 18 to my house but at least it wasn’t foggy.
We had a total of 2 inches of rain by this morning when I took Colin out. It was 47 degrees and still drippy but now the sun has come out and it’s warmed up into the low 60’s but breezy.
I did the usual house cleaning chores this morning. I’m grilling beef ribs for my dinner tonight and leftovers for another meal later in the week.
