41 degrees, sunny, and breezy when I left to go to the park to walk. Conditions much improved this morning. Though winds are still 5 to 10 mph temperatures are to be in the mid 50’s by this afternoon.
The LDS dry milk was not bad. I tasted a sip before I put it on my cereal. Not having had powdered milk before I have nothing to compare it with except my 2% real milk. it was fine on cereal and probably to make chocolate milk which I drink once in awhile in the evenings.
Laundry and other minor chores this afternoon. I am binge watching Where the Heart Is (1997 – 2006). A British show centered around life in a small rural community.
Hi Barbara-
I grew up on non-fat powdered milk. The secret, which you seem to have followed, is to mix it and leave it overnight in the refrigerator, I could hardly tell the store bought non-fat milk from the dry at the time. I rarely drink milk now but I do use it in cooking. If making something that would like a bit more body/richness I will mix in extra powder. I enjoy your brief posts every day that let me know you’re still out there and doing okay. Be well.
