I am reading Shadow of Vesuvius by Tasha Alexander.

Nice day today. Light winds, lots of sunshine, and low 60’s.

James mowed for the first time of the year. Even though it was only high in places it looks better.

I had a 2:15 appointment with my GP. Wanted to discuss the stuff still going on with my back and see what he thought in terms of long range issues. Also had some blood work drawn to see where things are.

Stopped by the library and the earthquake management office. I had the chimney and roof repaired last year after the earthquake thinking that was all the major repairs I needed done. Now, I have discovered some more damage to rock walls. They will come out and do an assessment. May as well get the money that is available to have things fixed based on what they find.

It’s almost always worth getting the money!

Sounds like you are welcoming in Spring, and it’s nice to read that Colin is getting outside time with the pack leader.

We’re in tree pollen mode here, so everyone is sneezing or coughing, which goes over about as well as you can imagine.

I haven’t been to a restaurant in a year and miss my Wednesday lunches with the ham radio group, even though Texas is pretty much wide open for business, the demographics of the group calls for extra caution. Still, even I am thinking of which outdoor restaurant we might be able to use for a get together…

Glad to hear you are well and getting out….
