Warm and mostly sunny this afternoon with highs in the mid 80’s and humid.
I drove over to Galax, VA this morning. I went to Lowe’s to pick up a couple of bags of bird seed then stopped at Walmart. Had good luck there picking up a couple items I had not been able to get at Food Lion. I bought some additional canned food items and a couple of odds and ends.
The Show Dept. is in the same shopping complex at Walmart. I found my size in the New Balance tennis shoes I like which is often not the case. All in all a successful trip.
I wish my wife a “good forage” when she heads out to the stores…
Glad you’re finding what you need. Stocking levels have been erratic here in Houston. I generally buy it when I see it if it’s something I know or think I’ll need, but I’m doing it more now, and buying bigger quantities. That leads to a bit of a self fulfilling prophesy re: empty shelves, but I’m selfish enough to stock for my family first.
Also glad you didn’t get flooded out by Ida. We got crazy rain yesterday but Ida was a non-issue for us and is long gone.
