A beautiful day with lots of sunshine, clear blue skies, and temperatures in the upper 60’s.
I left for Winston around 8:30 this morning for my 10:15 eye doctor followup appointment. All is looking well. Still some minor swelling which is to be expected. I go back in three weeks for an eye exam and new glasses. Until then I will make do with cheap sunglasses and readers.
I ran an errand then met Bonnie for lunch at Village Tavern. We had a nice lunch and visit then I headed back up the mountain.
It was warm in Winston but very breezy. Driving both down and back up leaves were coming down off the trees on the roads like snow.
