Coming to you live from Bob’s computer. This morning while I started the weekly house cleaning chores Bob unhooked the wired from my old computer to attached them to the little desk top system that was in the den and started the upgrade. Thus, no PC for me right now.
After I finished up the house cleaning I drove out to the pet store and Lowe’s Home store. I had intended to drop off the stuff in the back of the Trooper at the Goodwill trailer but it was not open going out or when I came back home. I needed to pick up pansies for me and the two planters I wanted to do for mom for the porch at their new apartment. I know she misses having some flowers to enjoy.
I fixed lunch then went to make her two planters, put them in the the car then took off again. I stopped at the Goodwill trailer then on to the house to meet Frances. We had a couple of things to do over there. I wanted to dig up dad’s Rose of Sharon plant and transplant it here before the cold weather sets in. It’s only been in the ground a year or so but it already had fairly deep and long roots but hopefully I got enough for it to reestablish itself.
From the house I went to the folks apartment to deliver the planters while Frances took off on errands. Then back home. I mowed the lawn and planted the Rose of Sharon then called it a day. It was already 4:30. I ran out of time and energy for today. I did not get my pansies in the ground but they will be fine as they are for now.
Grilling out steak and chicken for dinner. I want to see at least the end of the Ryder Cup this afternoon. I’ve missed most of it all weekend. Just too busy to sit and watch both yesterday and today.
