I am finally caught up at work after being gone four days. Yesterday afternoon I had to leave for a couple of hours to go over to the apartment to get dad signed up for home health care and physical therapy. They are going to help monitor his fluid weight and get him started on a good exercise routine. The place where they live also has an excellent PT person/program but dad was not willing to get on board. Now, he has not choice. Once the PT through home health care runs out they can take over.
The lawn service came yesterday to put down winter fertilizer. I had planned to get leaves up on Sunday afternoon when I got home but we know how that turned out. It is important to keep the leaves from getting too thick on the lawn. I told Bob to tell them I would have had them up and to explain the circumstances. They blew the worst of the leaves off the grass so they could get the fertilizer onto the ground. Now I will have to wait until it rains before I can get them up.
It’s been windy and chilly the last few days. Tonight we are under a frost/freeze warning.
