Bob wanted me to take it easy this weekend after a rough week with the folks and at work. But, a woman’s work is never done. This is the first weekend since we moved my parents the first of September that I have both Saturday and Sunday at home.
This morning I cleaned up the basement area between my car and the door to the finished area/upstairs. That’s the dumping ground for stuff like the last haul over from the house, boxes that need to be flattened and put in the recycling cart, etc, etc. I put all the stuff away and swept up a big pile of leaves and debris to make the floor look better.
Then, I gave Colin a bath. He will go in our upstairs shower to attack the water dripping from the shower head but he would not go in the downstairs one this time like he did last time. We finally had to force in him.
I then cleaned up my office and took a load of bags and boxes down to the car for a Goodwill haul. I did that run, gassed up the car and stopped at Fresh Market to pick up the noodles we use for stir fry.
This afternoon I cleaned off my desk and worked some more on organizing my Kindle titles. Next up, helping Bob label bottles.
