Mostly cloudy all day with calm winds and highs in the low 40’s but no precipitation.
I went to the gym this morning. Spent the afternoon at Donna’s doing craft stuff.
Sunny and a little warmer today with highs in the low 40’s and breezy.
Frances and Al arrived around 10:30 this morning. We ate lunch then drove over to Independence to go to Food City.
Spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing and watching television then went to The Pines for dinner.
It’s cold. Lots of sunshine with a high today of 17. Low this morning in single digits plus a wind chill below freezing. We will have the same temps for the next couple of days. Still some snow laying around in the shaded areas in the yard and around town.
Gym this morning. This afternoon I went over to Donna’s to craft.
We had a mix of rain/sleet/freezing rain this morning but it did not last long. Temps were just above freezing when I checked around 9 am. Pat was unsure about getting out of her driveway but mine was just slushy so I opened the store. Tomorrow the temps plunge back down into the teens for highs and single digits for lows with some more precipitation falling.
We were busy off and on all day. One of our best days so far this month with all the nasty weather. We finally did over $100 with several big sales to help out. Pat and Wendy came in around noon. We had several donations come in the door to work on.
I had around 4 to 6 inches of snow at the house yesterday and over night. It’s mostly stopped now but the winds are gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range and blowing it all over the place. Mid 20’s today then back down into the teens tonight. Wind chill is down in the teens.
I filled the bird feeders yesterday afternoon so they are good for now and so am I.
This morning I vacuumed and dusted the downstairs and the stairs, did the bathroom, etc. I do the bathroom every other week but I only vacuum and dust every couple of months.
I’ll do a diamond painting or color this afternoon.
Another Friday and more snow. This time we are in the 4 to 6 inch range of predicted accumulation. Temperatures are in the mid 20’s but the winds are calm right now.
We did open the store. Snow started falling around noon. We closed just a little after one. The main roads were already heavily salted so they were mostly clear but started to get covered in spots. Side roads were already getting covered.
