Diaries

Two inches of rain from last night until mid-morning. Temperatures were in the mid 50’s when I left for the store. After the torrential rains moved out we had snow showers and the temperature dropped to 38 degrees in an hour and half. Sun cam out this afternoon but now we have wind gusts in the 50 to 60 mph range and maybe higher. We are now at 34 but will drop down into the teens tonight with the wind chill in single digits or below.

So, with the cranky weather we had a slow day with customers. Joyce worked on getting out more Christmas stuff. I worked on a good size donation most of the day. We also did come cleanup in the back storage room as well.

We had some light rain over night. It was foggy with drizzle when I left for Winston this morning. Highs today in the upper 40’s and thankfully, calm winds.

I had my follow up echo at Baptist Hospital at 11. Only took about about 45 minutes. Guess I will hear back sometime this week how things are going.

I came home, fixed some lunch, then went over to Donna’s for afternoon crafting.

Sunny and breezy today but warmer with highs in the upper 40’s.

A busy day at the store. Half price paperbacks. Lot’s of folks in town for the local craft fair at the fairgrounds and Christmas tree shopping. We did over $200.00. Had three nice donations come in as well.

I was back at the gym this morning doing a full workout. I am doing the same hour long workout I was did in my rehab classes. Our machines are similar to the ones they had so it’s easy to duplicate.

After lunch I went to Donna’s for out usual afternoon crafting session.
