We had a total of an inch and a half of rain by last night. It rain all day yesterday, very hard at times.

It was good to get back to work today. With last week being a short week I was not too far behind.

My folks, sister, and Al took me out to dinner tonight for my birthday which is actually tomorrow. I chose a nice restaurant, Cities. Of course, being a Monday it was not very crowded. I opened my gift bags from Frances & Mom and Dad between the main course and dessert. They got me several very cute, original ornaments for my tree and a few other assorted things.

It turned cold today and was supposed to clear off but stayed cloudy with snow showers just to the west of us. We just got a little rain.

Happy Birthday to me. I had a nice day at work with several of my coworkers wishing me a happy day. Bob and I went out for dinner at Zoe's.

I had enough time at lunch today to finish reading the Deanna Raebourn. Tonight I shall pick up another Dalziel and Pascoe by Reginald Hill.

I made it to the gym tonight, the only free night of the week I had to get there. Tomorrow night I am having dinner with my friends Nancy and Betsy then I have to come home and pack.

Friday after work I am going to the folks house. The Christmas party for the mens golf association in Friday night. After I take them home I will go to Frances' to spend the night. Saturday morning we leave Level Cross at 6am for Myrtle Beach for the Christmas shows. I will be back home Sunday evening.
